1. Location

The race will be sailed on the Westerschelde, near Breskens, the Netherlands.
Seachart of the racing area: "Westerschelde & Oostende - Den Helder"

4. Inscription

Prior inscription through: www.x-yachts.be.
Final registration will take place in the Breskens Yacht Club
Fridag 30th of May: 20h00 - 21h00
Saturday 31st of May from 08h30 - 9h30

5. Inscription fee
150€ / yacht till end of April 2008. Late entries will be accepted at 200€ / yacht.

7. Format

Racing will take place in 2 classes:

Family Class: only one headsail allowed (no spinnakkers, gennakkers or code zero's)
Racing Class: full sail wardrobe allowed

The X-Yachts ratings will be used, please fill in your details on the entry form on this website!

8. Sailing Instructions

The Saling Instructions will be available at the Regatta Office after registration.

9. Courses

Courses will be handed out after registration.

Before racing, the course will be announced at the briefing.

10. Regatta Office

The Regatta Office will be at the Clubhouse of W.V.B. (Watersport Vereniging Breskens).

11. Safety

Safety checks will be carried out randomly by the Race Comittee before racing. All mandatory safety equipment shall be on board at all times while afloat.

12. Liability and insurance

Participants compete at their own risk and responsibility. The organizing committee, the Race Committee, the jury, or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organization can not be hold responsible for any personal or material damage (including but not limited tot death, injury; consequential losses) sustained prior to, during or after the races.

Each boat entered shall have a third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of €1.000.000 per event or the equivalent in the currency of the country of registration of the boat. It shall be the sole and inescapable responsibility of the competitor to have such insurance cover and tot provide written proof thereof to the Organizing Authority at registration.

Owners or skippers are responsible for any loss, damage, injury, death included, or inconvenience to their yachts or persons. They take into consideration the degree of training of their crew and the material state of their yacht. Only at such time, are they to decide to enter the regatta depending the weather, the sea state and the weather forecast.
